What is self-esteem? I am glad you asked. In psychology, self-esteem reflects a person’s overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth. In other words, self-esteem is what you think of yourself.
· Do you feel good in terms of your abilities, accomplishments, talents or skills?
· Do you feel like you are less talented than others, disappointed about your so called accomplishments or lack of talent and skill?
· Do you constantly walk around with negative thoughts about yourself?
· Do you feel good about yourself and always think positively about who you are?
As you can see many things help us determine how we feel about ourselves. All of the answers to these questions make up who you are – your self-esteem or self-image.
